En esta guía voy a describir cómo preparar un servidor Debian Etch para OpenVZ. Con OpenVZ puede crear múltiples Servidores Privados Virtuales (VPS) en el mismo hardware, de forma similar a Xen y el proyecto Linux vserver. OpenVZ es Open Source rama de Virtuozzo, una solución de virtualización comercial utilizada por muchos proveedores que ofrecen servidores virtuales. El parche OpenVZ kernel está licenciado bajo la licencia GPL, y el nivel de usuario las herramientas están bajo la licencia QPL. Con mínimas modificaciones podemos hacerla valer también en Fedora.
In this HowTo I will describe how to prepare a Debian Etch server for OpenVZ. With OpenVZ you can create multiple Virtual Private Servers (VPS) on the same hardware, similar to Xen and the Linux Vserver project. OpenVZ is the open-source branch of Virtuozzo, a commercial virtualization solution used by many providers that offer virtual servers.
